Scandinavian TV series Bron/Broen (The Bridge) is a grim & gripping crime drama with plot, (and characters) split between Copenhagen, Denmark & Malmo, Sweden. Opening titles and principal photography setting the scenes of urban ennui are crisp, dark, off-centered, and very effective at showing the often somber, disaffected feeling of city-life in, around & under the layers of history, modernity and the weight of Nordic-noir emotion. Cinematography by Ari Willey. Opening title design by Andreas Öhman and Jonathan Sjöberg at Naive to the song, "Hollow Talk" by Choir of Young Believers.
